Alan Moore and Melinda Gebbie’s “Lost Girls”

August 16th, 2006 by erisian

People who like Alan Moore may be a little bit surprised with his “newest” project. The Comic book and Graphic Novel veteran has been working for 16 or so years with artist Melinda Gebbie to create a 3 book 240 page hard bound series.

For those who are unfamiliar with Alan Moore, he is the man behind League of Extraordinairy Gentlemen, V for Vendetta, From Hell, Promethea and others.

His work has a tendency to be made into mediocre/to decent films by the hollywood crap gang. none of the films really hold true to his work.

This new series i will need to get and look over, but the shock has already set in a little and i am nervous about what i may read.

unique is about the best way to describe it…
personally i think that america is entirely too uptight about the whole sex thing. so it will be interesting to see what happens when the full volumes hit the shelves…
