Replymail project officially dead(ish)

February 28th, 2007

by dead i want to state that i still have items to scan that will be added to the archive. i will no longer be scanning bulk work once this is completed. some items may be uploaded if they are really cool, or if peeople email me with them as i would like for people to still have a forum to display their work. This however, will not be a common occurance (kinda like the project itself over the last 9 months). i will still be sending out replymail to lots of companies, but the act of documenting it is daunting at best.

thanks for a good run for all who have participated, i will still be archiving cards into a commentable format, but i am not sure when this will occur.

Catch my back [web]

February 22nd, 2007

This has got to be one of the coolest fight scenes i have ever witnessed in a movie. i was totally blown away, especially the uppercut shot that occurs at one point. Though “Ilsa; Harem keeper of the Oil Sheiks” is a pretty kick ass movie, i would like to warn people against watching “Ilsa: Shewolf of the SS”, which is the first movie in this trilogy. That film is disturbing on many levels. i plan to write an in-depth review of it sometime in the near future.

Video is an unedited clip from “Ilsa: Harem keeper of the Oil Sheiks”
Audio is the song Catch my back by Carrie Akre.

BACKGROUND:
I was attempting to disprove the Pink Floyd theory stating they intentionally created “Dark Side of the Moon” to match up with “The Wizard of OZ”. During this process, I found just how easy it was to take any random section of video from a movie or TV series and sync it up with music. Generally this can be done in a matter of 3-10 minutes depending on the music collection available. This video is one example of what I have found.
