nothin like a wonderful camera phone to catch you in a drugged up stated at the doctors office.  What a bizarre experience that was.. i was mostly awake during the surgery. they we kind enough to tell me when they were going to use a hammer and chisel (no joke.. they used one). i was too out of it to do more than say “okay… thanks for the warning…” and then fall back into barely conscious mode.

Suzuki has been helping me mend.. feeding me ginger tea when i feel ill and giving me plenty of cuddle time when i needed it..  and now i have the lxury of going back to work tomorrow! yeah!!

the day after the surgery i had the joyof the most excruciating pain in my life.. waking up at 10 am and removing the gauze packing from my cranium…  it actually made me cry and then pass out… i was crashed for 20 minutes with nasty gauze attached to my face.. it was quite embarrassing.. i was glad that suzuki was still asleep though i should have had her awake when i did it. then i went to the bedroom, ate two vicoden and slept fitfully for 30 plus hours.

it is pretty amazing how much better i am breathing already. even with some swelling, scabbing etc, i am apparently snoring less, and during the day time i can smell a billion things… it is a nice change :)
