his namesake is the great “Bob” himself.
if you do not know who “Bob” Dobbs is, check out the below link

“Bob” (from here only referred to with out quotes in the name of slack) was found by a friend of Jenn’s, Stacy, down in the Antioch California area. as the original bob died in San Francisco, it is ever more fitting that this pup carries his name.
bob has a little background history. Stacy did some sluething and made sure that bob was not being searched for. his original owner went to jail for some reason. when locked up, the owner dropped bob off with some friends. her friends soon after were evicted from their home and kicked bob to the curb. growing skinny and becoming infested with fleas, Stacy found him and took him in. not being a dog person herself, she called us up and offered to hook up a pup with a good hom, ours..
today, three weeks after we heard about him, we drove from portland to northern california to pick him up and bring him home. Stacy and her BF drove half the distance, and us the other. he slept on our laps the whole ride home and seems to be integrating nicely with the other pups :)
pics are below. a couple of them he looks a little growly, but he is far from. instead, being very nice. he is quiet and attentive, cuddly and sweet. a little skittish after his recent transitions, but this is to be expected.
the first two photos were taken by stacy, right after she found him, so i think that explains the tude he was coping :) from the photos, we thought he was two or three years old, but instead, he still has puppy fur and cant be more than a year old. and since he was abandoned and left for flea food, he is ours (read: MINE!) hehehe

Ahh… Isn’t he cute?!?!? Can’t wait to meet him. Think the other dogs will have him all trained up to bark at me by the time I get up there to visit?

We show him your picture everyday and tell him to bark. We now only have to briefly show him the photo and he is lunging and barking louder than the other two. The bark is strong in this one….
