vision problems and photography

03.30.09 | 4 Comments

Havent made much mention of it as I dont like to think about it, but apparently, I am far more blind now than I have ever been before. first started noticing issues years ago, double vision, terrible night blindness, smears of light. Unfortunately it has expanded to triple vision and constant aching. Planning to get another opinion as well as hook myself up with a long term vision doctor, someone I will keep going to for check ups on a regular basis.

Was told it had something about my cornea growing too thin in places, and the associated astigmatisms. Have been told I need to stop rubbing my eyes else I could perforate my corneas and that would be “Bad”, like the requires surgery kind of bad.

Reading subtitles in movies, even reading books in bed is terribly inconvenient these days. As if reading isnt enough, I developed a roll of film last week. Didnt spend much time looking at it till today, but now I am frustrated on a whole new level.

Long story short, my last roll of film only had 3 out of 24 shots that were with in the spectrum of focus i generally shoot. all the rest were garbage. Very frustrating.
