Taken on my way home from work yesterday.. yes, it has been flipped, it looked lame waving to the left
this is not to say that the left itself is lame, just that a flag waving to the left looks lame…
this is not to say that the right is better, just that it looks better..
in the end it is all a PR game, even with this photo.

Not to argue with you, but technically, the American flag is supposed to face the left when hung on a flag pole. Just like when it’s a distress signal when hung upside down…

technically not true..
the left to right orientation is only possible based on the perspective of those viewing it. someone on the opposite side of the flag would see it right to left.
the exception to orientation is when a flag is hung from a wall or a window.
in these cases, where the flag orientation is only visible from the front side, the flag should be displayed with the stars in the tp left corner.
