on an entirely different topic, i play scrabble at work with whom ever would like to join in. the difficulty is that in order for us to do so, we take our letters to our desks. this allows people to take their turns as they have time and makes work the priority.
recently we have seen a lot of ‘ten dollar words’ popping up on the board. though it is entirely possible that these plays are legitimate, it doesnt feel likely. tack on the fact that people have ample time to subtly google letter combinations and we end up with a connundrum.
are people cheating, and if so, how do we police the game?

we cant force people to only view their letters while they take their turns as this puts focus on the game instead of work. alternately, we cannot use standard challenge rules as words are known to be valid via cheating.
i know there are many more important things going on in the world, but bear with me. this is one of the few things that keeps me sane.

isnt there an easy solution o this stupid issue?
